Fine large monoface C.1000 BC. 3 1/2” length barbed triangular point with indented bottom tang as found on west coast US prehistoric points. One side flaked in the round and the other with large medial cleavage from attachment to the rock, with the perimeter flaked to shape. Prehistoric when a number of diverse cultures inhabited the region and mixed freely. Old cloth bandage label marked Pioter, indicating the product of a European expedition. Rare large example.
