Nike Daybreak Type Shoes in White, Bright Crimson and Monarch. With an airy mesh upper and suede overlays, the Nike Daybreak Type Shoes are a reimagined ‘70s style that pays homage to Nike’s history with modern execution. With a deconstructed look that has been achieved through the use of different materials, this model provides sport inspired comfort and ventilation suited to everyday wear. Suede panelling positioned around the front of the toe piece and side panels works in harmony with a retro heel clip to strengthen key areas, whilst bright crimson tone Swoosh tick emblems have been positioned on either side of the foot for classic character. Held in place by a shaped suede border, the lace fastening secures the foot and lightweight foam tongue in place, whilst a woven label above presents further branding. Referencing Nike’s experimental N.354 range which focuses on incorporating elements from prototype footwear designs, ‘N.354’ lettering can be seen above the heel clip on the back of the shoe, printed in monarch red across a shaped synthetic overlay. Underfoot the split two tone rubber midsole helps to provide cushioning with an iconic rubber Waffle sole pattern below that adds traction and durability, whilst also referencing a key development within Nike’s history.

With a distinctive deconstructed look, the Nike Daybreak Type has been created as part of the Nike N.354 project which makes references to the prototype stage of design by using a mixture of materials, stitch effects and shaped panelling. Based on the original Nike Daybreak footwear model which was first released in the 1980’s, this contemporary variation has a more breathable finish through the use of mesh which allows you to mix and match with coloured sock styling for a more playful look.
